In essence, the principles of Project Management can be utilised by anyone, regardless of specialism, to improve the way in which they carry out their work.
Participants will be made aware of and practice Project Management principles and the tools and techniques that can be used to facilitate a successful project, e.g. Gantt charts, stakeholder analyses, communication planning, project planning.
An understanding will also be developed of some of the organisational behaviours that must be taken into account when managing a project, such as matrix management, leadership, conflict resolution, problem solving, etc.
The event will be structured into three sections:1. Project management per se.
2. Project structures and governance.
3. Organisational behaviours associated with project management.
