DOP LAUNCHES ‘PRACTITIONER OF YEAR’ AWARD

July 2006. The Division of Occupational Psychology, British Psychological Society, has launched the first award to recognise excellence in the practical application of Occupational Psychology in business.
Users and buyers of OP services, both corporate and individual, are being asked to nominate occupational psychologists whose products, services and solutions have offered tangible and measurable business benefit.
The award event will be held at the Institute of Directors in London on the 21st September. Guest speaker will be Noel Hadden, Director of UK and CIB Learning & Development from Deutsche Bank, whose talk will focus on what business needs and is looking for from Occupational Psychologists. He will also be presenting the award to the winner, chosen by an independent judging panel.
